Community Cleanup Day

Help Keep Mahogany Beautiful!

Join us for Mahogany’s Annual Community Clean-Up Day, a community-wide event dedicated to keeping our neighbourhood clean, safe, and environmentally friendly before the snow starts to fall.

Whether you’re clearing out your garage, tidying up your yard, or looking to dispose of items responsibly, this is your chance to pitch in and support Mahogany’s natural beauty.

What’s Accepted:

This clean-up event is made possible through partnerships with The City of Calgary and local recycling groups. On-site, you’ll find the following services available:

• City of Calgary Pack-It-In Garbage Trucks – For general waste
• Recycling Stations – For scrap metal, electronics, paint, and more
• Women in Need Society (WINS) – Clothing, household items
• Action Furnace – Accepting metal recycling
• Techno Trash – E-waste and electronics recycling
• Other Local Vendors – Offering sustainable disposal options

Please note that organic waste and yard waste are not accepted at this event. (The City provides green cart collection for this.)

What to Bring:

• • Any household waste or large items you want to dispose of
  • Electronics and small appliances
  • Scrap metal

• Clothing and gently used household items for donation

Volunteer with Us!

Want to help out? We’re looking for volunteers to assist with traffic flow, unloading items, and greeting residents. It’s a great way to meet neighbours and support a greener Mahogany.
