“I’ve lived in Mahogany for the past 3.5 years with my husband, my teenage daughter, and our beloved Chi-Chi fur baby. We adore this vibrant community and its many gems, from the stunning lake and expansive wetlands to the fantastic restaurants. I champion community engagement and our core mission as Community Associations (CAs) to cultivate a connected, inclusive, and thriving Mahogany. As MCA President, I aim to infuse joy and connection into every initiative we undertake, and I look forward to meeting all my fellow Mahogonites!“

“Born and raised in Calgary, I have fond memories of the strong sense of community that shaped my childhood. Today, I enjoy living in Mahogany with my wife and two dogs while participating in activities that bring neighbours together. You’ll likely find me on the badminton court, curling in the winter, tinkering in my garage, or enjoying great food somewhere in the community.”

“I’ve called Mahogany home for the past three years, and my wife and I truly can’t imagine a better place to raise our family. There’s something special about a neighbourhood where people genuinely look out for one another, and I want to help protect and strengthen that sense of community. As Treasurer, I bring over 15 years of experience in nonprofit finance, and I’m proud to put those skills to work in service of our community.”

“I’ve lived in Mahogany since February 2011. Ever since that first Easter, watching the kids hunt for eggs in the snow at West Beach, I’ve been actively involved in this wonderful community. I’ve loved seeing this beautiful area grow into an amazing place to live, full of friendly and caring people.”

“I have lived in our wonderful community for six years with my husband and our two dogs. Born and raised in Calgary, I have always valued the tight-knit neighborhoods that made this city such a great place to grow up. As Calgary has grown, that small-town feel has faded a bit. This change inspired me to join the MCA as a director. I am passionate about fostering local connections, meeting new people, and looking out for my neighbors. I also love a great deal and enjoy sharing my favorite finds with the community!”

“I have lived in Mahogany for 11 years and previously volunteered with the HOA. I am excited to join the Mahogany CA and share my passion for the environment as Director of Environmental Stewardship. I have been involved in horticulture and gardening for over 40 years and look forward to sharing my knowledge to make Mahogany a more sustainable and earth-conscious community.”

“I have been part of the Mahogany community since 2014. With experience serving on both professional and community boards, I bring a strong background in leadership and service. I am a published author and former nominee for the “40 Under 40” and “Alberta Women’s Entrepreneur” awards. Since 2014, I have also volunteered as a mentor with the nonprofit organization Futurpreneur and was recently nominated for the 2026 Mentor Award.

After 26 years in the dental profession as a practice owner, I now serve as the Director of Calgary College of Dental Health, a private dental vocational college. I am excited to begin my new role as Director of Collaboration and look forward to serving the Mahogany community and its residents.”
